Missed calls report. Sample data.

In short

Six things to know before the demo.

What you get, in the words we'd use on a call. Everything here is on by default, on the extensions you pick.

See a sample daily brief
  • Missed calls report

The missed calls report shows every caller who couldn't get through, whether they were called back and how fast, and who is still waiting, with the number to dial.

  • Every call, summarized

Every recorded call gets an AI call summary, action items, tags and a sentiment score, so you know what happened without pressing play.

  • Loss prevention alerts

Customer loss prevention alerts flag callers whose sentiment is trending down before the next call is a cancellation.

  • The daily brief

A daily brief lands in the owner's inbox each morning: volume, missed calls, friction points, one customer quote and one recommended action.

  • Enabled per extension

Enabled per extension. Start with the people who live on the phone, not the whole company.

  • Toronto

    Processed in Canada

Call transcription and AI analysis run on Vantact-operated hardware in Toronto. No call audio, transcript or summary leaves Canada.

Who it's for

The brief for the owner. The dashboard for the manager. One system.

Built for

Good fit
  • Owners and managers of 5 to 50 seat businesses who want yesterday's phones in one email, and the full picture in the dashboard when they need it.
  • Managers who coach from real calls.
  • Businesses that answer the phone for a living: dealerships, law firms, clinics, long term care homes, schools, municipal offices.

Not built for

Wrong fit
  • Contact centres that need real-time agent whisper on live calls.
  • Teams that want a call tracking number for ad attribution only.
  • Businesses that don't record calls. The analytics work from recordings, so recording has to be on for the extensions you enable.

Not sure which side you're on? Twenty minutes on a call with your real numbers settles it.

What the phone data says in the industries we serve

65%

Dealership connection rate

About one caller in three never reaches a qualified person (Car Wars data via Flai, 2026).

40%

Law firms that answered a prospect's call

Down from 56% in 2019; 48% were unreachable by phone (Clio 2024 Legal Trends Report).

Most businesses don't know their own number because the phone system reports activity, not outcomes. The missed calls report is the first thing most clients look at, because it's the first number they can put a dollar figure on.

What it does

Missed calls report: who couldn't get through and whether anyone got back to them.

Missed calls

Who couldn't get through, and whether anyone got back to them. Callers still waiting are listed most urgent first with the number to call; the list clears itself when you connect.

Built for how your industry answers the phone

Dealerships

Service, sales, parts and BDC queues scored separately. Missed service calls and callback promises tracked per rooftop.

AI call analytics for dealerships

Law firms

Intake calls that never reached a person, prospects still waiting for a callback, and sentiment on client calls by matter type.

AI call analytics for law firms

Healthcare and long term care

Family calls flagged for follow up, complaints captured and categorized automatically, everything processed in Toronto.

AI call analytics for healthcare

Turn it on for three people, not thirty

Vantact AI call analytics is enabled per extension. Most clients start with the owner, the office manager and the one person who handles the biggest accounts, then add extensions as they see the value. There's no minimum seat count and no separate platform to log into. Ask us for pricing; we quote per extension.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does AI call analytics work with the phones we already have?
Yes. It runs inside the Vantact cloud phone system, which provisions Yealink, Poly, Cisco and Grandstream handsets. If you're not on Vantact yet, it's part of the migration, not a separate project.
Can we enable it for only some staff?
Yes. It's enabled per extension. Most clients start with three to five people and add extensions as they see the value.
Where is our call data processed?
Call transcription and AI analysis run on Vantact-operated hardware in Toronto. No call audio, transcript or summary leaves Canada.
Does it show missed calls?
Yes. The missed calls report shows every caller who couldn't get through in the selected period, whether they got through later on their own, whether someone on your team called them back and how quickly, and who is still waiting. Callers still waiting are listed most urgent first with the number to call.
Do I need to listen to calls manually?
No. Every recorded call gets a written summary, action items and a sentiment score, and calls that need attention are flagged. Managers listen to the few that matter.
Can we see results by department or office?
Yes. Calls can be grouped by department, office, team, queue or agent, so you can compare sentiment, volume, topics and outcomes across the business.
What can we search for?
Exact words, phrases, topics, tags, agents, departments, callers or dates. Examples: "billing mistake", "discount code", "cancel my service", "technical support".
How is a negative call defined?
You define it. The system ships with defaults, and you can set what a positive, neutral or negative call means for your business, so a price complaint and a service escalation are scored the way your managers would score them.
How is this different from RingCentral RingSense or Dialpad Ai?
Three ways. It's enabled per extension rather than per user across the company. It's processed on Vantact hardware in Toronto rather than in a US cloud region. And the missed calls report and the daily brief by email are part of the product, alongside the full dashboard, not an add on.
